Possible causes

Short circuit in STP2 coil wiring
Internally damaged stepper motor
Physical obstruction in moving component
Failure in board power driver

Recommended actions

Verify STP2 actuator coil resistance
Inspect wiring harness for rubbing
Perform manual actuator software test
Change actuator if resistance is out of range
