Failure in the Fuel Heater Relay (FHR) or heater circuit.

Possible causes

Defective FHR relay
Burned out diesel heater element
Open FHR circuit fuse
Loose wiring at fuel filter

Recommended actions

Check relay operation in test mode
Measure heater element resistance
Check power fuse
Clean electrical contacts on filter housing
