The evaporator fan motor is operating above its safe temperature threshold.

Possible causes

Damaged motor bearings
Excessive ice blocking the blades
Voltage drop in the evaporator circuit
Burned or shorted motor

Recommended actions

Check free rotation of turbines/blades
Manually defrost the evaporator
Measure motor winding resistance
Check electrical connections in the evaporator box
